Total Annihilation Explosions Gallery

TA is a wonderful visual experience. The landscapes themselves are pretty, but a tad boring. The units can be quite nice, but blowing them up is even nicer.

There is no shortage of graphical effects to enhance the mayhem that is happening in the screen. In just one game, I have captured more than ninty different explosions for your pleasure. To make the experience more complete, I have arbitrarily divided them into categories :

		Smoke puffs :		light bursts normally due to a miss
		Fireballs :		lovely balls of annihilation
		Blasts :		Impressive bursts of mayhem
		Flashbangs :		Light and fire
		Fireswaths :		Wispy clouds of fire
		Spotlights :		Mega-bursts of destruction
		Ejections :		My favorite : blown to smithereens

My apologies for the last category. I do want to avoid it, but this page takes time to load.
